Envious isn’t always a bad thing.

2 very distinct kinds of envy: malicious & benign. Malicious envy is bitter & biting, driven by a need to make things equal, even if that means tearing another person down. Benign envy, on the other hand, has an aspirational aspect—you think, If she can do it, maybe I can, too. Though the feeling is still unpleasant, it’s tinged with admiration rather than resentment. – Christie Aschwanden

A new commandment I gave myself: “Do what ought to be done.

If you can control your response, it will help calm whatever the problem may be.

    The knowledge Myth

Sir Francis Bacon said, “Knowledge is power.” Most people, believing power is the essence of leadership, naturally assume that those who posses knowledge & intelligence are leaders. But that isn’t automatically true. You can visit any major university & meet brilliant research scientists & philosophers whose ability to lead is so low that it doesn’t even register on the charts. IQ doesn’t necessarily equate to leadership.

In all your way acknowledge, Acknowledge, ACKNOWLEDGE Him, and He will make your path straight, Straight, STRAIGHT.

Stretch past our limits on daily basis. Walking the old, familiar paths is how we grow old.

Optimism is contagious & attracts people to us. An idle mind is the devil’s playground. Train our mind to think optimistically & nurture our mental strength, so to achieve higher goals, happier life.

It only takes a moment each day to secure love for a lifetime. One quickest way to choke the romance out of marriage is to take each other for granted. In the routine of life we often forget to let our spouse know that he or she remains a priority in our lives—& in our thoughts throughout the day.
Take a lesson from God Himself. He knew human nature. And He knew that Moses & the Israelites could quickly forget about God in the midst of their daily routines even though He had rescued them from slavery in Egypt. (Your spouse forgetting your anniversary seems fairly innocuous compared to Israelites forgetting that God saved them from the plagues). God gave specific instructions to Moses to ensure that Israelites kept thinking about Him throughout the day; read deuteronomy 6:5-9. — Bruce & Stan

    God is in the details

God isn’t just interested in your marriage ceremony, even though you are wise to include Him. And He isn’t there only when you call upon Him in time of need, although He promises to answer. God is involved in every detail of your lives, for the benefit and for the good of your marriage. Closely examine and cherish the seemingly everyday, ordinary circumstances of your life. Why? Because God is in the details of your life. – Bruce & Stan
